This shoot was done on the day of the football semi-finals or whatever the thing before the Super Bowl is. I texted my cousin Bridget the day before and asked her if she wanted to do a fashion shoot instead of watching football and it was an immediate yes. We both hate watching football.
I met her at her house and we prepped for the shoot. I curled her hair and helped her pick out her outfits, which is always one of my favorite things do to.
A little over a year and a half ago, Bridget got divorced and was left to pay for her newly purchased dream home on her teacher’s salary.
Instead of throwing in the towel and giving up the home in the perfect location across the street from her family, she decided to work her butt of to keep it. She began selling LuLaRoe. We didn’t really know what it was at the time, but Bridget quickly became one of the top sellers. She took on other women and showed them the power of hard work and determination.
She has been able to keep her house and she’s empowered hundreds of women to wear clothes that make them feel fabulous (and comfortable).
As of my writing this, Bridget is currently on a cruise with her mom that she won for being in the top 2% of LuLaRoe sellers in the country. She is such a rockstar!
She has been such an inspiration to me in my #girlboss journey and I am so lucky to call her my family.
Oh, and she’s adopted three adorable rescue pups and given them the best lives they could possibly lead.
