I am in love with this shoot I did for The Haberdash.
If you haven't been to The Haberdash, you need to check it out! It's right in downtown Hudson and is full of cute gifts, beauty products, home decor, and of course, fashion.
I work part time at Crompton Collective, and this is it's sister shop. It just opened in August so it's still pretty new. I've worked a few shifts there and I always love being surrounded by so many beautiful things.
If you were following my Instagram Story in early January, you would have seen that I went with the owner of The Haberdash, Amy, to a fashion trade show in New York City. We were buying clothes for the shop, and it was so cool to see our picks in the shop and to shoot them!
Skyler works in the shop and was my model for the shoot. We had to stay within view of the door in case any customers came in.
We put together 5 different outfits, some more wintery, some trying to urge on spring.
How pretty is this rack of white dresses and tops?
I am obsessed with this Free People dress. The length, the cut, and the embroidery are all perfect!
We were blessed with some blue skies the day of the shoot. It had snowed a few days earlier, and was still a little slick. I almost wiped out walking from my car to the shop. I had to use my tripod as a cane!
Skyler and I both loved this outfit so much. I think she actually wound up buying the dress to wear to an event the next day. It fit her so perfectly!
This is my other favorite look from the shoot. It's another Free People dress. We were wishing for summer with this one. But, now that it's March, summer isn't so far away!
It's always a fun time when you find a mini disco ball! We improvised and used my phone flash light to make it sparkle. It was tricky holding my camera and phone, but we made it work.
I hope you enjoyed this shoot! I had a blast working on it.
