Steve & Marianne's Union Station Wedding | Northampton, MA

January 26, 2019

Steve (Tous) and Marianna were married in a beautiful winter ceremony at Northampton's Union Station. The old train station was a unique and magical venue for their heartfelt ceremony.

Everyone got ready at the historic Hotel Northampton.

The guys had a lot of fun pretending to be magicians with their pocket squares.

The front foyer of the Hotel Northampton turned out to be the perfect spot for the first look. It was the best natural light we had all day and I love how all of these turned out!

Marianne looked stunning in her lace gown!

Gotta have some shades for the groomsmen!

Then we headed over to Union Station to get ready for the ceremony and do family portraits.

Ceremony time!

THEY WERE BOTH BEAMING. SO CUTE.

I love taking candids during cocktail hour. This is another reason why first looks are so great! When the portraits are done beforehand, I'm able to get maximum coverage of the guests!

Steve and Marianne had three speeches, a prayer from Marianne's Uncle, a heartfelt speech from Marianne's twin sister, and a bit of teasing from Steve's brother (including embarrassing childhood photos)

The speeches were followed by dinner and then it was time for the special dances!

Steve and Marianne were met with cheers from their friends and family.

 How cute are they!?

Then Marianne danced with here dad- please note his awesome matching red Converse!

Steve and his mom had a sweet dance with a few laughs thrown in!

Then it was time to unleash the guests on the dancefloor!

This group was having a blast!

There was even a round of limbo played with one of the groomsmen's ties.

Before the end of the night we snuck outside for a few more portraits. I like to do this with my couples so that they get a few more portraits, a moment to themselves among the reception craziness, and I love some good streetlight glow!

This was such a fun wedding that I wound up staying until the very end. I was only booked for 7 hours, but sometimes it just feels wrong to leave early, so I stayed and extra hour or two and I'm so glad I did.

If I hadn't I would have totally missed one of my favorite moments of the night: the passing down of the family suspenders!

Thank you so much to Steve and Marianne for trusting me to capture their day!
